“Read, read, read. Read everything — trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You’ll absorb it.
Then write. If it’s good, you’ll find out. If it’s not, throw it out of the window.”

DERRY – TERRANCE GAVAN

One day in Ireland

Scarred and torn by war

I passed a single flower

Hard by a barred up door

The windows, metal shuttered

Shone grey against the sum

And little children passed

In rows

and one by one

Ski or web

Terry is a mentor, an artist and a fairly happy guy. He skis, he rides his bikes, he plays with his two dogs and he is ensconced in a cherished position with his wife Jackie. Happy works for Terrance.
